This pier has a nice mix of serious fisherman, amateurs and families. The scenery is beautiful and well worth the $1 walking fee. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful! Restaurant attached opens at 11 for lunch.

This pier is conveniently located near a great restaurant and motel. They have a grea folllowing with the local folk and a nice place to eat.

Only $1 gives you the chance to visit the pier..he didn't charge me for any of the kids..loved it, kids loved it..great views..

Takes $1 per person to walk the peir ! I would pay it over and over again. Lots of locals and fishermen! Saw some people catch a couple sharks . watched the sunset ! Beautiful !

Loved taking the kids to the Pier the staff was very friendly and all the locals fishing super friendly as well ... very well kept loved watching the dolphins jump around in the water from the pier .... Beautiful sunrise and sunsets can for sure...More

Operated by a private concern, adults have to pay a fee to go out on the Ocean Crest Pier (kids are free). If adults want to fish, they also need required state permits. In spite of that, views are great...especially at sunset. But beware that...More

They do close the pier so that they may go home but I'm not sure of the time. They also have to clean up a bit for the next day.
Are leashed pets allowed to walk the pier?

From what I have read and been told, I think that only service dogs are allowed on the pier. I am not 100% sure though. I didn't take my dog there when I went.
