I love the pier. It offers a great view of the Nags Head beach. Great for fishing or just to take a walk over the water. Currently all three wind turbines have been damaged by storms but the pier is still a must visit on...More

The family and I walked here as we were staying nearby. It was a fun walk and pretty to see, but I didn't see the draw unless you could fish. The fish weren't biting so we didn't waste our money.

As an educator I appreciate what the pier offers to the public and will gladly pay a couple of bucks to walk out on the pier. It's a very well built structure with a lot of sustainable features. It's good to get out and see...More

Very nice pier and great view kid friendly aquarium with gift shop! Fishing was slow so we didn’t pay to fish but enjoyed the nice walk!

My daughter and I took a run from our hotel to the pier. We were hoping to stretch out on the pier but found out there was a fee to walk to the end. We didn’t get to enjoy the view over the ocean :(

We went to pay for admission and because the turbine at the end of the pier was being worked on, they charged us half price without our asking. We watched surfers, fishermen and just basked in the warm sun on the pier. A great outing...More

It was great walking out to the end of the pier and feeling the Nor'easter waves pounding into the ocean. I had never seen waves like these before. On this particular day, the pier was the site of various field trips of students experiencing fishing....More
