Called Steve, the owner of cherokee cellars and he responded the same day. He was so helpful and kind in making sure to ship me the 3 cases of wine to Michigan. I make a point to go here every time I am in Murphy and always come home with 2-3 cases. If you are in the area make sure... More

We stopped in while on our 10th year anniversary to Murphy. Very casual and low key winery. We both had the 5 dollar wine tasting. So technically we tried 10 wines. Wines were great. Recommend the "Riesling" if you like semi dry/ sweet wine . We left with six bottles to take home with us because we could not decide... More

Now it did not help that we showed up during a birthday party with a gaggle that looked like rejects from Real Housewives of Atlanta. The operators were clearly thrown off their game. The wine was weak, and the wine shop uninspired. On the upside they had no issue with us using their restroom as a changing room (we were... More

Sorry your visit to the winery wasn't more pleasant. As anyone in retail knows you can't chose your customers. I am glad we could assist you by letting you use our restroom as a changing room. Hopefully it didn't inconvenience our other guests as we only have the one bathroom and as you mentioned we were very busy at the... More

The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The wines available for sampling were very diverse and I can still taste the raspberry one on my taste buds. The $5.00 charged is well worth it as I am sure the winery is not making a killing off of these samples just breaking even.If you like wine at all give this place a... I had never been to a wine tasting and didn't know what to expect. Kind of expected a snooty vibe, but got the total opposite. It is a small place and kind of hidden. I don't think you would find it by just driving around. It was great! I suggest if there is someone in you party that you don't... More

We stopped in to taste some wine and I was really surprised by how quaint and comfortable I was. There is a small tasting room and lots of patio space. We sat inside and were really comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the wine was delicious. They told us that they buy their grapes and make the wine so... More

We had a great time at Cherokee Cellars. Of the five people in our party, two do not care for wine. Both of them, as well as the three others, found a wine they enjoyed during the tasting - enough so that everyone had a glass of their favorite kind before we moved on. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wonderful... More

My boyfriend and I both did the $5.00 wine tasting! Awesome experience, both owners were very personable, and made you feel very comfortable! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine. We will definitely be back again!

WE stopped in and had the 5 samples for $5. The staff served up the wine with a smile and had us pick ones we really enjoyed. He was super friend. Bar seating was great to meet people and we enjoyed talking to others also trying wine. We left with 6 bottles between us. Great place.
