This is a very dangerous place to run and walk. I broke my arm in two places after tripping over a “cleared” tree that had been covered by mulch. In some spots, there are tree trunks painted orange. I don’t understand why all trunks were...More

Flat and paved, this 3+ mile loop follows the river. Lots of walkers, runners, and bicyclists share the amply wide path. Lots of other exercise and fitness options.

Curiosity caused a stop at this unique location. It is very well maintained and well marked. You can take a leisurely walk with your pet, a bicycle ride or a jog. You won't be alone and you won't be disappointed. My only caution would be...More

The wife and I enjoyed our stroll along the river. We went in the morning and everyone we can across was friendly and the bugs hadn’t gotten up yet

We enjoyed walking the paved and dirt trails along the river in both directions. It's very clean and peaceful. We even did some geocaching and had a great time. Take water with you if going during the hot months!

This was a fun way to see Murphy and the river. Definitely need mosquito spray but worth the walk - plenty of places to stop along the way for a photo opt!

This leisurely walk was enjoyable watching birds, ducks and geese. The smell of honeysuckle filled the air with a sweet aroma. The river was high, so we only walked a small section of the trail.

The RiverWalk is fabulous at any time of the year. All the volunteers do a great job keeping the boardwalk, paths, foliage and parking looking fabulous.

There are canoe trails. Being I know little about canoes and kayaks, I cannot answer your question precisely.

Dogs are definitely allowed! I've seen a bunch of dogs running alongside joggers and bicyclists or walking with their humans.

The Main Street of Murphy is very close by. I like the coffee and casual atmosphere at The Daily Grind.
