Nice and easy stroll around the river. Beautifully maintained by volunteers. It was even lightly raining while on our walk and it was still beautiful and enjoyable.

The river walk in Murphy is a nice place for a stroll, thankfully most of the year because of the nice weather here in the western Carolina mountains. there are also benches and swings if you need a break.

Even though it was cold for us Floridians, we walked the river. Very pretty stroll on boardwalk, gravel and paved trails. Easy and relaxing.

They continue to add to this trail, it winds around Konaheete Park, then follows the river, over the railroad tracks, to the old depot, and looks like they are extending again. There are restrooms and parking and a playground at the main park. I hear...More

The trail goes all the way to downtown and back. It's a fairly long trail with much of it near the river. It's a nice and pretty walk, great for couples or a family. Great for picnics too!
