My wife and I decided to stop here on our way from Nashville to Williamsburg. This town must thank Andy Griffith every day for putting them on the map! It's a cute little downtown, quite "touristy". Its good for about an hour walk thru. The...More

Cute little southern town from which Andy Griffith originated the town of Mayberry. It has a lot of little shops and the feel of a small town. Cute stop off for a road trip. Eat at the shake shoppe or stop by the re-creation of...More

This shop is a must stop when in Fancy Gap. Very unique items for your house, different and very tastefully displayed. Probably the friendliest ladies there you have ever run across. So much fun, had to have my husband take me back a second time!...More

This is the world I grew up in - a quaint main street (ok, my home town didn't have quite so many souvenir shops or antiques ) with friendly people and good food. A pleasant visit!
