This tour for $35 a trip was an absolute must-do in "Mayberry". Although historically not perfect the cars are look-a-likes to the Fords used in the show. Our guide was Steve and he was great! We played with trivia while seeing some interesting sights. Don't...More

The first tour we took was excellent. We returned during Mayberry Days with friends. This tour was not as good as the first. They have around 6 cars with different drivers.

So fun riding around town in a squad car! You feel a little bit like a celebrity with everyone looking and waving at you. I highly suggest you do this first before visiting any other sites around town. Our driver and tour guide was great.

My wife and I visited on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, during our first visit to Mt. Airy. The attendant, Rhonda, was nice. We also took the squad car tour and it was fun. Our driver, Stephen, was terrific.

They have some great souvenirs here and some amazing drawings of the characters of The Andy Griffith show.
