The Mount Airy Visitors Center is now located in The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce Building at 200 N. Main Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. Please stop by the Mount Airy Visitors Center as we are open 7 Days a week Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm (May-November) and until 5pm (December-April), Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm. We can assist with planning your trip while visiting Mount Airy "Mayberry" North Carolina. The Andy Griffith Museum is also open 7 Days week and just few blocks from the Visitors Center.

This is the spot to visit just after you arrive in Mount Airy. The individuals were more than willing to help guide us and they were very outgoing. "More than just here's our brochure." The people working here love their town and it shows.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are visiting the area I would recommend stopping in to get some extra information about the town as well as some of the locals favorite places to go

My first time here and I loved it, It was a quaint town with old time buildings and other things. I loved the museum, enjoyed taking pics, was able to get pics pf the Sheriff's car and the soda fountain. It was so peaceful there....More

Our first stop in Mount Airy was the visitors center. They are pet friendly and even gave us a homemade treat for our dog :) The woman was very friendly and informative, giving us a wonderful map of downtown and showing us some highlights. Definitely...More

My wife and I were visiting Mount Airy as an over night trip. We parked on Main Street and started our day browsing the shops and stores. We stopped in the visitors center and picked up some helpful brochures.
