Ken and Kari provide and excellent tasting experience with their multi-level approach. They have excellent wines (no reserve wines needed as only the best is sold) with exquisite Monepulciano, Nebbiolo, along with the usual vitas vinifera. They provide a Skull Camp line (even in cans) for the learning wine taster, and also brew beer for those with alternative tastes. Check... More

We stopped at Round Peak Vineyard and we had a fun wine tasting experience. Round Peak has their Round Peak wines which are dry French and Italian varietals and Skull Camp wines which are semi dry or semi sweet varietals. This winery has a great view of the hills and has a fun laid back atmosphere. We bought a bottle... More

They have some good wines, but their beers are really good (and I'm more of a wine drinker). Gorgeous back patio with outstanding views. Dog friendly outside.

Stopped by the vineyards on a Saturday afternoon which surprisingly wasn't very crowded. The vineyards are nice to look at over the rolling hillside. The building looks rather new and is attractive. The tasting room (at the front) seemed a little small for the size of the building; maybe there is another area near the back. There were probably a... More

We were RVing nearby and stopped in to enjoy some of the local brews. In that aspect, this is a great stop as they offer their own wines and also beer from their Brewery, Skull Camp Brewing. My wife is a Cabernet drinker, and she tried a flight of their wines but said she didn't really find one she liked.... More

Stumbled upon this gem of a winery/brewery while my husband and I were tending family business. We prefer the slightly sweeter side of wine so Skull Camp wines fit us well. Also their brew was quite exceptional too. After our tasting we meandered to the back terrace....I was so very taken with the view! Absolutely gorgeous and so very peaceful!!... More

We stayed at the house right next door on the winery property. Beautiful view, well appointed accommodations for 6-8 and enjoyed our wine tasting. Perfect setting and weather for our reunion - 50 years after we met at Carolina.

Went on a Saturday, they had a band on the patio and we're all set up for a night of Camping in the Vineyards. Great idea! Never seen that before and it looks like it would be a lot of fun. Did a wine tasting. Then tried some of their Beer"Skull Camp" Would return again!

If you are "wine tasting" in the Yadkin Valley, make sure to go here for wine tasting. We stopped at Round Peak with another couple while "wine tasting" our way through the valley; we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff is personable and helpful, and the wines are very nice! We really like some of their... More
