If you have traveled the world and seen other caverns, don't even bother going here. There is nothing beautiful or interesting. The gift shop is good but I did not have a good experience. I found that I was charged at least $15 extra for my purchase and 3 employees re-calculated and voided the transaction and charged me the correct... More

The caverns were smaller than what we are use too going through but it was still a nice little side trip. Not expensive at all. Our tour guide was great, young man heading off to college soon. He was very informative and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

This is a great stop-off. The caverns are interesting and the tour is well done. My kids enjoyed it very much. I thought the caverns would be cold, but it was 50 degrees inside. Take a jacket but you don't need gloves or a hat. The tour takes about 30 minutes. Perfect length if you're there with younger children.

The Linville Caverns is an interesting place to go. It is very reasonable and the tour last about 30 minutes. It is cool to see all the formations. The guides are nice and funny but wish they would include more historical type information. This is just something I think the owners should change a little. Overall I would definitely recommend... Linville Caverns is an affordable, interesting, historical attraction. They have polite, helpful guides and a wonderful gift shop. There is a creek on the property that is a peaceful setting to take a packed lunch, stretch your legs or snap a few pictures.

This is a really interesting natural cavern to visit. Lots of beautiful formations inside the cavern and also a stream with fish inside too. This is a guided tour that takes visitors through the tour in groups. Most of it is pretty open area but there is one area that gets kind of tight so if you are claustrophobic this... More

This was a fun little trip inside the caverns in Linville. Tours last about 30 minutes and the tour guides are knowledgeable and funny. It can get a little cool in the caverns so make sure you're dressed appropriately. Outside of the caverns are a few picnic tables and large rocks that the kids can climb on. The gift shop... More

This attraction could be so more if some of the history was shared by guides who didn't act so bored with the tour. We bought in the store because the amount of detail was lacking in the memorized spiel by the girl walking us through the cavern. How hard would it be to have a room outlining the discovery of...
