I realize people bathe in perfume these days, but wearing it to tour caverns is more than a little rude. We could not get close enough to the tour guide because a woman was wearing a bottle of cheap perfume. In closed areas like that,...More

This was a great place to stop and see caverns that were carved out by water. The slimy rock and crazy formation are a sight to see! The tour guide was very informative but too much for me. He kept telling me to stay with...More

always fun to go! just don't go if it's raining anywhere for 200 miles .lol .. interesting to hear about the history and how the place was found... no spoilers here. you'll have to go and listen to the tour guide yourself!

This was a cool little place to visit with the kids. You will probably get a little damp especially if it has been raining. Also the cavern stays at 52 degrees year round so bring a light jacket. It is a guided tour so you...More

The drive up to the caverns was very nice, especially with the leaves changing colors and the caverns are beautiful. Admission was $8.50 which seemed reasonable if our tour would have been longer than 15 minutes. Our tour guide rushed us through before we had...More

Some friend recommended this place in the NC mountains to go visit. Firstly, I would never go to the mountains just for this place. There are many, better and free things to do in the mountains than pay (admittedly a nominal fee) for a hyped...More

Great tour ! Short, sweet and to the point. Interesting to see what years and years can do in a cavern !!

I saw people carrying small dogs as previously state you get into some tight spaces and at one point of the tour you are in total darkness
