We visited three wineries in Lexington on a weekend trip to Winston-Salem and Native Vines stood out as my favorite. I'm not a big fan of sweet wines and that's what this place specializes in, but I really liked all of what I tasted. The strawberry lime is dangerously delicious. The chocolate was great. The owners are really sociable. We... More

So this is a unique place, back in the woods and with a horse in the back stable of the tasting room. We were greeted by two dogs, which was great, very friendly. The wines themselves were not great, but the staff were very friendly, and if you enjoy sweeter fruit wines, you might enjoy. They offered tastings of ~7... More

My friends and I visited on a Thursday morning...place looked a little questionable...kinda back in the woods. Once inside the a/c was a plus. We sampled the sweet wines...all were chilled and would be great to sip on the porch or by the pool on a hot summer day. Brought a bottle of the Redhawk home with me. I would... More

Recently went for a tasting at Native Vines with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed ourselves. The place is out in the country and you have to go down what appears to be a private gravel drive to get to it, but that gave it a bit of charm in my view. The tasting building appeared to be an older... More

Went for a tasting with friends from out of town. Unfortunately, Native Vines was out of dry reds for samples and only had their sweet wines for tasting. I liked their Green Tea Honey wine, but at $18 a bottle, a little too steep in price. The tasting site is at the back of a long driveway. The host was... More

HI Todd thank you for your visit to our winery, I apologize for not being fully stocked we.strive to keep all our products available at all times. We love to visit local towns and check out the happenings on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to go to Lexington, NC late in the day and found most places are closed in Lexington on Sunday. We found this winery thanks to TripAdvisor and took a little road trip. The winery is the first native american winery in the country... More

I had to try this winery since I have Cherokee Indian in my family. This winery is in the middle of a surrounded forest. The driveway felt like I was in the Blair Witch Project. Kinda spooky but it was great. The greeter was a cute dog which directed our steps into the winery. The owner (I think) was very... More

Stopped there today and was amazed at how good the wine is. I'm no wine expert, but there was not one of those that we tasted that I would not recommend to anyone. We had a hard time not buying one bottle of everything! The dogs and horses also helped to make for a great visit. The owners are so... More

We went to Native Vines, I had heard about the winery in Southern Virginia and I also work at a winery in the Yadkin Valley. There was live music, which was very good. The atmosphere was very peaceful and fun. The Riesling was my favorite, I like Riesling but I prefer dryer wines. The first thing I noticed, it was... More

We visited Native Vines the last weekend of February. We really liked these wines and even bought a case to take home. There are Reds, Whites, and Sweets. Must try the Green Tea Wine and the raspberry Tea Wine. Theses are very different than anything we have tried before. $10 for a tasting and keep the glass. They will pretty... More
