We came to spend two nights at the New River State Park campground, and it was absolutely peaceful and pristine. The 221 Access campground was small yet met our needs with large sites and clean restrooms. We woke up to a chilly 26 degrees but...More

We camped here for two nights. You park in a paved lot and have to carry or cart (they have carts available) your stuff to your site. Or, you can access the campground by boat, and we saw several people paddling down the river stop...More

We stopped off for a nice easy hike through the woods and along the river. It was everything we had hoped for! We saw some geese along the river and as we hiked through the forest The View got better as the higher we went.
