Recently went with a group of 40+ so we got an even better rate. The tour is approx. 1 hour long. Worth the price just to see the beauty of the home/trees surrounding the lake and hear some of the cool history stories. If you...More

We went on the tour Friday, October 27th. Steve was our guide and did a splendid job doing the tour. He had a great sense of humor also! Highly recommend the tour as you'll learn a lot about the history of Lake Lure!

We did the one hour Lake Lure Boat Tour. We had a great time, on a beautiful day. This is a great way to see the lake and the beautiful landscapes. We can't wait to do the Dinner Cruise when we return.

This tour is quite pleasant. We have taken it a few times and enjoyed it every time. Highlights include the "million dollar view" and the cruise past sites related to the Dirty Dancing film site. The scenery is spectacular and the guides are very good.

I do not think that pets are allowed on the boat tours. I did not see any pets when we made the tour.

The Flat Rock Play house is next to Hendersonville. It is the state theatre of North Carolina, and has excellent quality shows. They have events scheduled throughout the year.
