I booked a trip for my boyfriends 30th birthday to Zeke's island with about 15 of our friends with Kayak Carolina. The day was perfect, our guide was knowledgeable and the paddle was a blast. This was truly an unforgettable experience and I would recommend Kayak Carolina to anyone of any age. What a great day 😊

There were three of us women. Went on tour to zeeks island. Paddled constantly for one and a half hours through the marsh and see a few birds but not much. Arrived at Zeek's island and enjoyed not peaking for a while. Then paddled for more than an hour back to shore against the wind and current. Incredibly hard. Also... More

This was a real highlight of our trip to the Carolinas! We did the Zeke's Island tour with Angela on August 14th. She had an answer to every question about the area. The group was small, 3 tourists and two of her friends came along who were just so friendly and wonderful people. We loved this area so much we... More

We took our three young children (7 and 4) on a wonderful kayak adventure. Chad was an excellent tour guide and accommodated the needs of the two four-year-olds. After a short kayaking ride to the island, we got out and hiked the island. We found crabs, seashells and even tasted lemongrass! Chad was great at highlighting a little local NC... More

We ranged from 26-86 years old. Chad was amazing. He really did a good job of what to do and interacted with everyone to make sure we were all having fun! Find sharks teeth started out slow, but we probably had 25+ by the time we left. It was calm, the water was great, saw lots of beautiful birds, fish... More

My sisters and niece recently took the Zeke's Island Nature Tour/Fort Fisher Basin! Not much to say except it was excellent all the way around! Weston was our guide and he was not only very knowledgeable about the area, but also a great storyteller which made it even more enjoyable! His upbeat personality made everyone comfortable and made you feel... More

First time kayaking for our family- Beautiful trip! The water was calm and Matt was full of information on our tour. We went to Zeke's Island, had the beach to ourselves- it was amazing. Can't wait to come back and do this again. Highly recommend this group for any level of experience. Thank you KC!!

Family of 5 went first time kayaking during the week to Sharks Tooth Island. 2 adults went tandem. My 12 yr old daughter went single. Then I went tandem with my 7 yr old. We all had a blast. Our guide was Chad. He was helpful, knowledgable, and very good at finding shark teeth. My children loved him! We would... More

This was our second time to do the Zeke's Island Family Kayak trip. We had four adults and 2 kids (4 & 6). Weston and Chad were our guides, both were great. Very patient with the kids, knowledgable about the history and wildlife and they helped us catch some crab. This is a perfect morning family outing. I think next... More

What a great time! Very reasonable rates. We were comfortable taking out the kayaks after the instructions given by the employees, and we are novice! Scenery was beautiful and the fishing was fair. Staff very helpful.
