My friend and I stopped in on the last night of a girls' weekend. We were surprised to find it mostly vacant on a saturday night - one couple was finishing drinks, and that left just us and Susan, the bartender. We each had a...More

These folks have done a fantastic job bringing a brewery to Highlands. Service is prompt and courteous. Many of the locally brewed beer are surprisingly good. I wasn't sure what to expect and am far from a beer expert. The staff there asked some questions...More

Two thumbs up...We tried a pumpkin beer this week which was perfect for the 31st. The home brewed beers are clearly marked and there were some really amazing options. Indoor and outdoor seating and a block walk to downtown Highlands . What's not to love....More

Great to have a place for a decent craft beer in Highlands! Several of their own plus quite a few guest taps.

Can't say much is exceptional about the beer or the staff at Satulah Mountain. Just another craft brewery cashing in on the "craft beer movement" here in WNC. On my recent visit, the bartenders weren't very welcoming, and once I selected a pour it was...More

Expect to receive warm, friendly service. Satulah is just getting established in Highlands so if you're a fan of craft brews, I suggest you support the cause! I ordered a flight and stuck mainly with IPAs; I thought they were tasty. They also had a...More

We found this place last summer and thoroughly enjoyed the locally brewed beers as well as the great selection of NC beers. This is a wonderful addition to Highlands and we look forward to visiting again this summer.

Only brewery/brewpub in the otherwise "Cocktail and Wine" scene in Highlands. Locally brewed beers and NC specialty (guest) brews are served in a friendy atmosphere. Brewmaster was there at the time I visited and shared is brewing technique. Try the IPA's (India Pale Ales). Very...More
