This was a beautiful lace for a picnic and stroll around a shallow pond. Great for families with small children, but not for teenagers. We didn't catch any fish and it was too shallow to swim.

Cliffside Lake Rec Area has several short hikes - pick a few based on your level of difficulty. Don't skip the walk around the lake, which is easy and beautiful (though the roots may make it difficult for strollers). And feel free to use the...More

Trails are overgrown. Lots of roots showing in the trails and easy to trip. The lake is very low due to repairs being done to the dam. Not much fun.

My adult son and I decided to picnic here on our way to falls. We paid $4 to park and had a wonderful, quiet lunch. The picnic area has several tables - some under trees and some under shelters. It was a nice, little stop.
