This is a calm, mirror-like lake with a nice trail around the perimeter. Less than 1 mile around and mostly level. Would be good for a family hike.

Easily accessed picnic areas with rentable pavilions, a decent lake swimming area and a fishing pier plus fishing areas on the lake shore. It can be “buggy” so bring you bug repelletn.

This was a beautiful lace for a picnic and stroll around a shallow pond. Great for families with small children, but not for teenagers. We didn't catch any fish and it was too shallow to swim.
