We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to find the Bascom almost deserted. The young woman at the desk never even looked up at us or acknowledged our presence in any way. It's a lovely facility, and the ceramic exhibit was small, but very high...More

I called ahead and requested a guide for our group of 12. Judy was knowledgeable and friendly. We so enjoyed learning about the Art Center and the art displays. The gift shop has lovely unique items for sale. A delightful afternoon - thank you.

Had a wide assortment of pottery, wood turnings, paintings, vases. Not a great deal of items but a pretty broad range. Prices mostly high, as well. Was thoughtfully laid out in a building hand crafted of reclaimed wood. My 14 year old daughter was impressed.

We stopped to visit when our hiking plans were rained out, but we greatly enjoyed the photo exhibits and looking at the pottery! This is a great place to stop for a visit!

Our planned hike was cancelled due to inclement weather, so we went to the Bascom and were pleasantly surprised with varied exhibits there. Really ended up having a wonderful morning there and would highly recommend it - even in nice weather!

This facility has some magnificent art work. A lot of traveling exhibits and the pottery barn where people are making pottery while you watch which is for sale. A very nice facility with parking.

We were floored by the location, the building and the quality of the displays in such a remote location. The building itself is worth the investment of time and the architect gets kudos for the effort on the property. Enjoy!

I can’t believe this is a top attraction here. I enjoy art and there is so much beauty surrounding this area; I can’t believe that beauty isn’t displayed here. It’s a beautiful site that has so much potential.

It depends on how long you want to look at the exhibits. An hour-less or more.
