We purchased 4 butterfly plants. We have enjoyed growing the plants and watching the butterflys develop. Absolutely beautiful. Really simple to care for.

This is one of the most awesome places to visit. Children love it and so will the grown-ups. Very informative, great for photos

Visited with our grandkids today, Saturday. $6 entrance fee for everyone allows a short educational demo, which involves kids from the audience. You then wait while they allow small groups into the "flight house" where you are allowed to catch and feed the Monarch butterflies...More

This place does a great job getting you up close to the butterflies. They also do a brief educational presentation that involves participants and is quite funny. Large school groups schedule their visits so as not to interfere with the fun of families or tourist...More

I brought my 20-something god-daughters from Hong Kong with me to see the butterflies. We all were delighted to have monarchs landing on our faces and seeing so many at once--- I will come again!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Is milkweed available for purchase? I want to make an above ground butterfly plot of native milkweed in my back yard. I already have butterfly bushes and flowering bushes and flowers to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. When I taught 4th grade we would collect milkweed and the eggs were on them. We would watch the progression and the release was wonderful for the kids. I'm retired now and ready to nurture the monarch!

I don't know anything about milkweed. I just visited the Butterfly Farm when my grandchildren were smaller. You need to contact the farm directly.
