Nicest apples in the mountains. Home baked apple donuts, apple cakes, apple turnovers, and fritters are always worth the drive. Animals and playground make it one of our favorite stops with our granddaughter every fall!

We love to go here. The apple variety is great depending on season. And all the special treats....apple dumplings and food specialties. Other vegetables in season. Biggest cabbage I have ever seen!! And fresh from the fields.

When passing through Hendersonville, I love to stop here to buy some fresh apples. Great prices and so many varieties to choose from! Pink Lady is my absolute favorite. Definitely buy some fresh apple donuts while you are there. They won't disappoint!

Grandad's is partly an open air market. Not sure of hours this time of year. Be sure to call. I'm sure dogs on leashes are OK if under control.
Has anyone ever gone to Granddad's in November? I am thinking this coming weekend, Nov11-14.Are there still lots of apples top pick? Are the activities still going on, Hayride, corn maze etc.?

We paid $4 per person. It took about 40 minutes to find all the check points and get out. It is a really nice maze.
