We enjoyed reading about, and seeing some history of the Hendersonville area. The rail road exhibit was particularly good with several dioramas.

This museum is free and a must. The volunteers are happy to help. You walk through the exhibits on the first floor then stairs or elevator to the third floor. The train exhibit explains the history and growth of this area and North Carolina. (One...More

We found the Heritage Museum to be a good local history museum. Maybe with a little to much focus on Military History. Most of the rest was very interesting. Free. Easy metered parking on the street.
