Henderson County has an interesting history, and the Historic Courthouse displays it well. The self-guided tour on the first floor takes 30-40 minutes and is worth the time. The Museum is small but informative.

This is a small museum in Downtown Hendersonville, NC. Admission is free and it is well worth seeing, due to the many depictions, even though it won't take you very long to go through it. The museum is in a Historic Courthouse, which is interesting...More

Educational and Interesting information about the area. My favorite thing was an absolutely beautiful quilt on exhibit depicting local places of interest. They offer tours and there are restrooms available. Friendly staff. Worth a stop inside to see the history and building.
