Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome brewery but a very sad food truck.
Go for the beer and enjoy the vibe but bring food from somewhere else.
My wife and I really enjoyed our beers and hanging on the front patio but the food from the little food trailer was pitiful.
I had the gyro and fries which consisted of three pieces of gyro meat product with iceberg lettuce and mayo; it was bland and very very sad. My wife had the chicken burrito which was ridiculously minimal and bland. The curly fries were horrible; they were fried to a crisp and tasted of old fryer oil.
The beer is very good.
Hopefully, the Lazy Hiker will get different food truck vendors

Heard the food truck had Gyros so asked my husband to pick up two orders for lunch. He didn’t check and we only got one order…his fault. We decided to split the one. Fries were awful and one taste each was enough to make us throw them out. Don’t think I’ve ever had worse. The gyro was not as bad but I couldn’t eat it. My husband ate part of it but even he couldn’t finish it. Not only did it not taste good they are not generous with meat, sauce, veggies.

This is a nice kid and pet friendly place to sample locally brewed beer. There was live music. A very popular place so it was very crowded. Seating was limited. There is outdoor seating with a food truck, but it was so cold when we visited. We sat outside anyway. We had a nice time.

For sure this is a great local craft brewery. I have sampled a bunch The site is in downtown Franklin and offers plenty of in and outdoor seating. The craft board is wide ranging and should fit anyone’s taste. Over several visits, I enjoyed the Octoberfest, Pilsner, lager, and a guava raspberry tart. I was allowed to sample a few others that I passed on. There is also a Hikers Kitchen food truck that is great. My veggie hummus wrap was delivered to my outdoor seat as I enjoyed a cold pint. I purchased several six packs to take home. My B&B was only steps from the Franklin spot so, between rain showers, I was able to walk to it. If you are interested in locally brewed craft beers, don’t miss Lazy Hiker!

We happened to stop by there because we were looking for a place that was open where we could get something to eat and drink. The place has big tables for people to sit together. It is very comfortable in there and they also have and outside seating area That had a fire pit going since it was so cold. They actually do not serve any food, but there is a truck outside where you can go in order and he will bring the food inside. From what I have seen it does look pretty good. They have several beers on tap and they make their own beer.

We stopped by for lunch after hiking part of the Bartram trail. This place has a great atmosphere and a good beer and cider collection. The Slack Pack IPA beer was great and we had food from the "To Dye For" food truck. I loved the cheese burger and my wife enjoyed the loaded nachos with chicken.

The beers were mostly hoppy and even then wasn’t anything to write home about. The pregnant bartender was pleasant and did a good job staying on top of everything. The atmosphere was alright, the outside sitting areas were best. Dog friendly also which is nice.

We headed for a house in the Mountains and this was an convenient place to meet up. Nice folks good beer and they wine and seltzer to if that is more your thing. Several excellent choices on tap reasonably priced. I will stop by again, next time I am in that neighborhood. Pet friendly as well.

The brewery is clean, light, airy and has a fabulous staff and great beer. They have a food truck to order from however, while the people were very nice, the food was just okay. The oil seriously needed to be changed as the fries were awful.

It was ok. VERY unfriendly stuff. I did see a review like that but totally ignored it. The beers are ok, nothing to write home about though.
This is the second brewery I’ve visited in his are. The Innovation Brewery was the first and Lazy Hiker second. Any day, Innovation Brewery is the best.

How much is it to tour the brewery? Are the food trucks always the same or do they rotate?
Written 9 October 2016
We now have two Breweries in Franklin both have food trucks, not sure but I think they alternate between the breweries. There is no charge to tour either one of them.
