I have been to multiple concerts at this venue over the past few years and every experience has been great. The staff and volunteers have always been helpful and friendly, with only one exception (an older volunteer usher seemed to think my print-at-home ticket was not genuine, despite the fact that I had already been allowed into the building with... Went to see the Texas Tenors here. The SMCenter is a real jewel in Franklin. Acoustics are great and doesn't seem to have a bad seat in the house. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking can be a challenge for sold out performances, but otherwise absolutely nothing but praise!

I was very impressed with this facility. It is only a few years old and is definitely first class. If seats about 1500 people and not a bad seat in the house. They offer refreshments and have adequate facilities to accommodate the crowd with a reasonable wait. Don't pass up an opportunity to attend a show here.

I went here for the Carpenters concert...which was absolutely amazing! One thing that made it so wonderful was the fact I was able to sit on the frontish row...so cool. The performing arts center does a great job 1st gathering spectacular performers and programs to introduce to the town.

We have only been there a few times. It has the most leg room of any theater anywhere. My husb and and I are both tall, and usually end up with our knees hitting the seat ahead of us, but not here! The seats are very comfortable ! There is more than one exit, which I like, too. We park... More

It's a great venue and there isn't a bad seat in the house. We have been there for movies shows and concerts and always enjoyed ourselves. It's adjacent to the Boiler Room restaurant and the Fun Factory. The photo is in the lobby before a showing of Star Wars.

I was amazed that a sleepy little mountain town had such a place when I moved here recently. What a lovely venue. They have something for the whole family. From pajama/movie night for the kids, to Fiddler on The Roof for the adults. ( marvelous production by the way ) The facility is brand spanking new. Seating was roomy and... More

Who would have thought that a small town like Franklin, NC, tucked away in the mountains, could hold such venue! I've attended several concerts here and they all rate higher than some big cities (Asheville, Greenville, Atlanta, etc). First, there is the broad spectrum of entertainment offered; e.g.: from local talent to country legend Loretta Lynn, from bluegrass ballads to... More

What a great place to see a concert, play or anything else! I've been here several times and have never been disappointed! The shows start on time and you usually get the chance to meet the performers.
