The drive to get here is somewhat long and very interesting. The "hike" down to the bottom of the falls is short but can be slippery when wet. View once you get here it is amazing. Easy for just about anyone to walk down.
Awesome picturesque location, great for a hot summer day! It does get a little crowded on the weekends though.

First off, every falls presents a danger if you act irresponsibly.

This is a perfect swimming hole and wading creek. It does take a bit of time to get there and you think you've gone into the mountains but it's worth it. College kids and locals spend time here soaking up the sun and wading.
The hike to the falls is easy, so if you aren't in the mood for an intense hike this is the one for you! The falls are worth the effort. The only disappointing part of our visit was seeing all the trash in the area....More
