The boardwalk is very nice and well maintained, but many of the shops were closed (granted, it is considered the “off-season”). We walked around for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and then left.

I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and visiting some of the stores. Great views of the water as you walk. The stores are fun and different and the people who work in the stores are very friendly!

We use the boardwalk almost every day for walks. Love it! Kudos to the Town of Duck for building and maintaining such a wonderful public space.

If you go during the summer (between Memorial Day and Labor Day) the stores do have evening hours (8-9). Before/after then, most close early (5-6p).
