Views are beautiful! Gorgeous sunsets, sparkling water, wildlife, marshes, outdoor birdhouses. Nice wide walkways, wonderful to stay outside and take in the wildlife, ducks, turtles. Plenty of places to snag a cool drink. Nice eateries, boutiques, really friendly staff in the shops. Nice and laid...More

If you appreciate mindless development (95% of the McMansions are rentals), despoiled beaches (4 wheel drives line the beach) and an overall depressing feeling when viewing the wild horses wandering around their former pristine habitat (now occupied by tacky homes built in what was once...More

I love to walk and walking along the water is my favorite. This is it!! Even though we were there during a noreaster we still enjoy walking along the boardwalk and stopping in to various shops. It was peaceful and beautiful.

Duck Town Boardwalk is very nice and well maintain, has benches, garbage and recycle bins along the way. It goes on the ocean and also between shops.

This is a great boardwalk that provides some scenic views of the bay but also access to shops, restaurants, and the city park. There are public restrooms in the middle of the mile long walk. Very flat and accessible for just about everyone.

Walked the boardwalk. It’s October and most stores were open, some were not. Loved the views of the sound. Easy walk, wheelchair accessible also.

Decided to walk instead of driving to the shops. Easy walk to view the sound side of Duck. Markers easy to read and understand your location. Even nice and clean after hurricane Michael.

It’s pleasant, accessible, surprisingly extensive and offers amazing views of the sound. Lots of interesting little stores along the way and numerous water birds too. Don’t miss this chance to get close to the water and experience the charm of Duck.

Instead of walking on the side of the main road with crazy Saturday traffic the Duck Boardwalk lets you walk along the shore of the bay from shop to shop. Unfortunately it was low tide when we were on it so it wasn't as nice...More

A special place for viewing the sound and taking wonderful photos! We spend time on every visit. Our son especially loved walking and taking pics of the surrounding areas in each particular spot on his way.

If you go during the summer (between Memorial Day and Labor Day) the stores do have evening hours (8-9). Before/after then, most close early (5-6p).
