It’s pleasant, accessible, surprisingly extensive and offers amazing views of the sound. Lots of interesting little stores along the way and numerous water birds too. Don’t miss this chance to get close to the water and experience the charm of Duck.
Instead of walking on the side of the main road with crazy Saturday traffic the Duck Boardwalk lets you walk along the shore of the bay from shop to shop. Unfortunately it was low tide when we were on it so it wasn't as nice...More
A special place for viewing the sound and taking wonderful photos! We spend time on every visit. Our son especially loved walking and taking pics of the surrounding areas in each particular spot on his way.
The boardwalk is very nice and well maintained, but many of the shops were closed (granted, it is considered the “off-season”). We walked around for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and then left.

Enjoyed many nice walks with our extended family on the boardwalk, from 2 years old in a stroller to my 70+ year old parents. Lots of pretty views and fun little shops to explore. You could never go hungry, either, with all of the food...More
