If you want to fish Phelps Lake, forget everything you ever learned about fishing. The first time I went there we spent half the day trying to find water deep enough to accommodate fish. You can walk out 1/8 mile and still be in water...More

This is a great place to get away from the hassles of the job, city life, aggravation and troubles. The lake view is so relaxing, it’s rustic, earthly, and a calm atmosphere. It can be exposure for the young. It can be relaxing for the...More

If you like solitude, nature, and beautiful vistas this is a wonderful place to visit. We camped at Pettigrew SP for 3 nights and loved it. The sunset views alone are worth the price of admission.

Nothing around this lake from the park except a boat ramp and dock. Plenty of parking for trucks/trailers. Did see one picnic table by the parking area.

Out of the way but worth stopping at. Home of Pettigrew State Park. Has launch ramps for boats, swimming area, picnic area and camping.

Board walk is only two years old. Great for all ages to enjoy. Takes you out to the full view of the lake. Good fishing area.

Nice place to take the family for a day outing. Stop by to see Somerset Place a State Historic Site, definitely worth taking the tour.

Located inside Pettigrew State Park. It is a beautiful clear shallow lake. Perfect place to take the kids swimming.

I drove for what seemed like hours and could not find beach access from a paved road on the north side of the lake.

There is no charge for the boat ramp. There is a fee for camping if you decide to stay (which is worth it!)

The best way there is 64 to Creswell. There is a sign I want to say it's exit 558, but not 100% sure on that. There is also a campground there at the lake.
