We enjoyed our stop here on a daytrip up the Outer Banks. The person working the desk was friendly and offered good advice. There was a lot of good information in the form of pamphlets, maps, etc. as well.

I insisted we stop here before we arrived at our vaca house. After a 2 day, 15 hour drive, it wasn't a popular idea with the others in our vehicle. We were all glad we did!! The people there knew what to do. She grabbed a map, marked our location, gave directions to the 2 stores in town, gave us... More

Good place to pull over, stretch legs and collect info on Outer Banks, which we had never visited before. Plenty of brochures covering every aspect of coastal life including on the water activities. Clean restrooms also. Had place pretty much to ourselves late on Sunday afternoon.

The people in the visitors center are very helpful & can answer any question that you have. It is the place to go for directions & to find out what is going on in the OBX & Corolla area

We were visiting the Outer Banks and stopped at this visitor center. We were greeted by Diana and she was such a help! She was very familiar with the area and pointed us in the right direction for sightseeing, activities, dining and directions. Absolutely loved her! Thank you so much!

I wish I had found this place when I first arrived, but it looked more like a real estate office than an information center although the sign clearly said so. Very nice people with great information and even free souvenirs.
