Although the lighthouse is not open during the off-season, we enjoyed walking around the historic area along the waterfront. We did not get to go inside the lighthouse but could see it in all its glory from where we were standing. Very peaceful area.

Although the lighthouse was not open, we enjoyed the grounds and design of the lighthouse. The grounds are wooded and well taken care of . Also, the historic Corolla compliments the lighthouse

The gift shop is very crowded and hard to maneuver. We visited on a rainy day and still got great photos of the lighthouse. We did not climb to the top.

One of the main lighthouses on the Outer Banks to visit. Only reason I didn't give it an excellent is it is basically crammed into the middle of the woods. It doesn't have a great view like Bodie Island. However, it is still a great...More

Adults cost $10, however if you just want to go inside and take a photo looking up at the spiral stairway there is no cost.
