I have always seen Lake Norman from I-77. Jetton Park is 3 minutes off the highway at Exit 28. There was plentiful parking, and multiple access areas to the walking trail. This would be a great picnic location - there are private tables with grills,...More

Tons of birdwatching opportunities. Picnic areas. Small beach. Unfortunately there are also views of the ridiculous mansions surrounding the lake, so large that they look more like hotels. Nevertheless you can get some good nature experiences here.

Great place to get your steps in and can enjoy some larger view of Lake Norman. Has several swings for adults to enjoy the views. Playground for children and tennis courts.

This park has very nice play grounds for the kids. There are also hiking trails and the lake. This is my kids their favorite park on the lake.

Jetton Park is a good spot for an enjoyable walk or run along the shores of Lake Norman. Well marked and almost completely paved trails, clean bathrooms and numerous picnic sites makes this a good choice for family or individuals. I was only there one...More

One of our favorite location for a nice short hike near the water. Always quiet and peaceful. Great place for a picnic with the kids.

A hidden gem that only the locals know about and even some of them don't even know about it! A wonderful lady willed this large property to the town to develop as a park for everyone to enjoy! I've seen weddings here, beautiful dogs walking...More
