We held our book club there today and had a wonderful experience! Alvin made incredible wine infused treats and we had a beautiful table setting. The merlot and chardonnay were great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We went with another couple. The host tried to sell us the property more than he did the wine. Wine was average at best. Ice cream was pretty good. I live locally and am ashamed that we don't represent Green Creek in a better light. I have heard in past years this was a wonderful place. Sad it has gone... More

After lunch in Columbus, NC my wife and I headed to the Green Creek Winery. A bit remote but worth the trip. Chris was welcoming and very knowledgeable. The wine was good with some surprises. We tasted wine flavored ice cream, wine flavored sauces and wine flavored chocolate. Really good and different. Bought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, which also... More

This vineyard is small and only has two wines for tasting but they have lots of food made with wine that you can taste too! Popcorn, shrimp, ice cream, etc. I highly recommend the ice cream! Service is excellent.

Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, this winery only had two wines to sample. But they more than made up for it with pleasant conversation and delicious wine-based foods. During our tasting, Mr. Pack, the owner showed up and engaged us in conversation about wines in the area, foods and restaurants in California, and a bunch of other great information. He... More

We arrived after lunch and were treated to a wonderfully cool and welcoming place. The scenery is limited to close-by vines but the facility is incredible for entertaining and group parties. The Chardonnay was very good and paired with great tasting samples of grapes, crackers, cheeses, shrimp and the owners special dipping sauce, a must buy! The Merlot was preceded... More

A pleasant stop on the Tryon valley wine trail. While the wine available for tasting on our visit was ok, it was the winemaker himself that made the visit worthwhile. Will be back in the late spring to try the red Chardonnay.

We have visited the winery on two separate occasions and enjoyed ourselves both times. I recommend sampling the wine and asking the owner for a golf cart tour of the vineyard. He is very friendly and informative. Make a day of it and visit the other two local wineries as well.
