Great course

Riverwood is a nicely designed course and is one of my favorite. Prices are great for walk ins and memberships.

I played there last week and the course was in great shape. Most of the courses I played last month were burned out from the heat and lack of rain. Riverwood was in great shape. I only wish it was closer.

Its ok, about like a municipal course. Road going to the course is horrible, owner too cheap to fix it. I would not be a member, just played it once. The Neuse and Pine Hollow are close by, friendlier, and just better courses

I live here in the local Clayton area and have been playing this course for more than 5 years. The staff behind the desk are very professional and very customer-friendly. Unfortunately that's where anything positive you'll encounter ends. A high percentage of the tee boxes are at best sandy. As for the greens, forget it. They are either diseased or... More

3 nine hole courses that are so different. Deer Run is the longest, Meadowland is the hardest and Riverview is the easiest. Friendly staff with a driving range, putting green and chipping area. Highly recommend.

The 27 holes are usually in good shape and will test all levels of golf skills. Service is helpful and pleasant. Definitely a good value as a guest or member

I live at the Riverwood Golf Course and play here regularly. The course can be a bit of a challenge and will take a bit of time to learn where to hit your ball. I still enjoy playing at Riverwood and find it to be one of the best courses in the area.

I always like playing RW but end up having repeated bad customer service. My recent run in, I went in for range balls and was told the range was closed. However there was 12 people on the range, I asked why and was told they ran out of balls. I asked would it be open once they picked balls and... More

We played this course (Riverview & Meadowlands) on August 14, 2013 and it is a very nice layout. They have 27 holes. The course was very interesting as no two holes seemed the same. The only reason I didn't give it another star was that the greens had been aerated as well as the tee boxes but not to where... More

If this is the first time playing RWG then I would recommend finding a playing partner that has played the course. Some of the course can be challenging at times and it does help to have some one who has played the course before. RWG offers a challenging holes and can be forgiving on some of the course. If you...
