Under the glow of summer stars, the Cherokee story comes to life. Performed in our 2,000 seat outdoor amphitheater, Unto These Hills is the family show too large for any screen.

We were worried about attending an outdoor drama, so we ordered the Rain money-back guarantee tickets. Fortunately, we had good weather. The show was wonderful . . . worth the 90-minute drive. The actors did a great job. My only complaint was with the sound...More

During our stay in Cherokee, we attended the outdoor drama of Into these hills that details the life and hardship the Cherokee people endured before, during and after the Trail of Tears. Very informative and well done.

Paid $228.00 for 8 tickets and Insurance for Tuesday, July 18 at 8 pm. Got to see the Preshow at 7:30 pm and approximately 10 minutes of the actual show before the rain came down so hard we were forced to leave the arena. Now...More

The outdoor drama is in its 67th season and very professionally done. The history of NC Cherokee Indians was narrated and enhanced with beautifully chorographed dances and songs. We enjoyed sitting in a wooded setting on a "cool" summer night. The presentation was just over...More

This is a live drama performance of the lives of the Cherokee and how they were treated long ago. The cast was exceptional and did their parts convincingly. The history of the Cherokee people was truly brought to life and you get to see their...More

Not worth the money, but not bad. Repeated a lot of info from the museum and around town, good info, just repeated. Not culturally accurate actors. That was distracting - as was the obviously fake long black braided wigs they wore. Dance was ok, but...More

I've worked in Cherokee for nearly 3 years and this is the first time I've been able to attend this event. The lines were manageable, the weather held out too, plus we were able to feel a little breeze in the event arena. The story...More

My family went to this show and even with general admission tickets we got good seats. All of the actors spoke clearly and played their parts well, the dancers were very focused and executed the dances flawlessly. The story was historical and emotional, and was...More

This was a fun and educational play. It is outdoors so be prepared with a jacket. Grab the small step stool on the way to your seat. The seats are up a little high and your legs dangle without the step stool.

Great show! Better than we expected. History of the Cherokee people brought to life. Would definitely recommend to others.

Officially, I'm not sure. We brought in drinks and they didn't say anything to us.

I would take a cushion so you can be more comfortable because the seats are hard but the middle section is the best view for the show and I really enjoyed it.
