Its sad how bad Cherokee has gotten. But this store was nice. bought some fresh milled grits, some fantastic pecan honey butter, and strawberry cider. Good place to buy the obligatory souvenir.

My family and I stopped in the mill on a weekend trip because it looked interesting . We felt like we were under surveillance the entire time. I understand that shoplifting can be a problem but you shouldn't make your guests feel like criminals.

Very cool place to watch the mill and buy their own flour and grits they make on site. Lots of unique gifts, crafts and food samples that you can purchase as well. Loved sitting in the rocking chairs out front!

This is a good place to get real ground flour, grits, etc; but the other things they sell border on kitcshy. Toy bow and arrows, redneck wall signs, souvenirs, etc.

In the midst of side by side tourist trap shops, we came across Saunooke Mill, which definitely stood out as a nicer souvenir shop from the many others. So of course, we stopped in. We enjoyed watching the antique mill in action though it was...More
