Beautiful water fall. The hike up involves climbing approximately 150 slightly uneven steps and the a short hike to the observation deck. The view is worth the short hike.

Yesterday we hiked the Mingo Waterfall. It was just as described: an uphill, .4 mile stair climb. It is considered moderate due to 100+ stairs. However it was one of the easiest hikes we completed during our visit. Upon completing your stair climb, you walk...More

I am a Canadian and was down hiking waterfalls in the smokies and must say this one is great. Hardly anyone else around and a very tall waterfall. So glad I saw it.

The climb features steps and a handrail. This is followed by a short flat trail. You view the falls from a bridge with solid railings, but steep steps. Soco Falls offers quicker access, but Mingo Falls is more impressive when there is adequate water.

Its a Quickest reachable falls. with 150 Steps and little walk. The water was meager but I am not sure, that is same all over year.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in WNC worth the drive. It is only minutes from Cherokee. It is a must stop if you are in the area.

The falls are definitely worth the stop! Easy climb up the stairs and a short walk to the falls. We also hiked to the very top of Mingo Falls where there is a much smaller waterfall. The hike to the top is a bit challenging...More
