My husband and I attended "Rocktopia" on April 15, 2017. Parking was a breeze and only cost $8 to park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is rather old and the seats were a little worn. The sound system was okay. The medium size of the auditorium means there really isn't a "bad" seat in the house.

We went there for a Rocktopia concert last night. This auditorium is not a new facility but the management has done a fantastic job of bringing it up to modern standards. The seating was fantastic and the auditorium, bathrooms, and common areas were exceptionally clean. Parking was excellent and the in house staff friendly and welcoming. A wonderful treat....

One of the oldest but best aucosical venues in the Queen City. Easy access & great parking. Eat before going....little food & drinks are expensive.

I've been to Ovens Auditorium many times for various types of events, from children's programs to family events, to adult events. The acoustics are superb, the prices are reasonable, the there are plenty of staff members to direct you to your seats.

We were at the Ovens auditorium for the Piano Guys in Feb 2017, and the only thing I have to say is - getting to the right spot was confusing. It is right next to the Bojangle's stadium which also had an event going on that night, so we got caught up in traffic and congestion and weren't reeeeally sure... More

We had such a good experience seing Riverdance at Ovens. Yes, a little cosmetics wouldn't hurt the old girl. But she is very clean. I love the venue and don't think there is a bad seat in the house. There is an intimate connection between the audience and performers. I expected to have to wait a half hour to visit... More

Parking is terrible. Access up and down those old concrete steps is awful. Bathrooms can only accommodate a crowd maybe one tenth of what was there. We love Riverdance ,but will pass on any events at Ovens auditorium in future. Belk venue and Peace center in Greenville,SC or even Newberry,SC opera house surpass hands down. Staff wanted to seat every... More

We came here for my daughter's dance recital and the place is looking worse for wear. The seating badly needs to be updated, the sight lines are not very good as you are pretty low off the stage near the front, and overall the place just screams refurbishment...as in it needs one.
