It was HOT and this grandmother does not function well in heat and humidity but a 3 year old cannot and should not stay cooped up because her grandmother sweats ungracefully. We rode the blue line train to the end of the line, walked less than half a block to ImaginOn. We had a ball! Yes, it's geared to somewhat... More

This is such an amazing place! It's a children's library with fun, hands on exhibits and a theatre. I took my 18 month old to Mi Casa, a play specifically for kids 3 and under. She LOVED it! And so did I. I am glad, however, it was just the two of us. Her grandparents wanted to come and maybe... More

We walked into ImaginOn not really knowing what we were in for. It's basically a library/museum/activity center for kids and there are tons of cool things for kids to do. Everything from reading, to an interactive play area with a space ship and under the sea type stations for the kids to play. Hope we can come again soon and... More

Kids all had a great time. They had computer games, Legos for my son, and books. So yes it was nice. The Tuesday special was not worth the time but maybe my kids just did't like it. Again free so tough to complain.

I traveled to Charlotte with my grand kids ages 3,8 & 11. I took them to this place and they had soooooo much fun! I had fun watching them. This place is so enlightening for all ages. My three year old attended the story time and it was very interactive! We left there and caught up with the other two... More

Had a great time! My 3 and 6 year old kids loved this place! Very hands on and lots to see and do! Not your typical library! Plan on spending 2 or 3 hours! It's FREE!

This is a really nice place to take young children. It is not your typical library you don't have to worry about being very quiet especially if you take young kids, full of interactive things to do and for them to see, the story time was really engaging, there's train, car, time machine, and lots of imaginative play. There is limited... More

Great FREE place to take the kids. It's like a library, but also has some fun game type things. Plenty of places to look at books and play.
