The Mint Museum located in the heart of Charlotte's Uptown is extremely diverse in the types of art, displays, creations and culture that it brings to the Charlotte area. There are two locations, one on Randolph Road and the other on South Tryon Uptown. While...More

For some reason, I thought this was a museum related to printing currency (like a mint). Instead, it was art but not a disappointment. Although not what I had hoped for, it was a fun stop. I was not fond of all of the displays...More

It was a real treat to see the kind of quality this collection represents. Painting, sculpture. photography were all amazing. It is also very accessible. The scale of the galleries are very comfortable and avoid the maze like quality of some museums.

One of our favorite places to visit in Charlotte. Always great exhibits and if you have questions the staff is excellent.

I love the size of the museum, it’s not overwhelming big. Very pleasant to check every exhibit in a nice and easy pace. The focus on new and mordant arts made everything feels fresh and inspiring.

Stopped by this place after eating nearby. What a great museum - cool art, interactive drawing table in the 'costume' exhibit - definitely worth the time.

The building is nice, the exhibits aren't what I favor. I don't know what this museum is trying to have as a draw. Usually museums have a theme and this location unlike their other one is uneven. It wasn't busy when I went on a...More

There's underground parking at the building next door (Levine Centre for the Arts) I believe the entrance to the parking is on W. Stonewall St. It's $3.00 per half hour during the day, $5 after 5pm.
