Wow, wow, Wow! My wife and I have done organic gardening for decades, but when we took courses in pollinator plants and polinnators, it changed our whole view on things. Ever since we've implemented what we learned about indigenous plants, we've had a 30-50% increase...More

Great indoor displays, informative and interesting for all ages. The outside children's play area is a wonderful maze wooden structure. Walking trails are short but really lovely, the kids and dogs can easily navigate them. This is a free, enjoyable experience for all.

Grest place to take children who especially enjoy the bug eating plants and the huge chess set. Learn about the flora of NC in a spectacular setting.

I love coming here to photograph the flowers. There are lots of plants, and there are creeks and ponds with frogs. It is usually very quiet and not crowded. There are also great trails behind.

Excellent Botanical Garden close to the UNC Chapel Hill campus. The formal collections are generally good but proximity to Fordham Blvd detracts somewhat from the experience (separated by a wooden sound wall). The real attraction are the creek side wooded trails, including some with decent...More

Although we live nearby, it had been years since we had visited the gardens. They have new offices, classrooms and facilities since we last visited. You can start at the center and see what displays they currently have. There is also a library and gift...More
