If you are just trying to see waterfalls, this is a good one to check off your list. Enough parking for maybe 8 cars. Then a 3-minute walk to the falls. The path is well maintained and pretty much flat! If you want to, you...More

Short walk to the falls. Must be able to handle the multiple tree roots. It does get crowded, so you may have to circle around a few times to find a parking spot. If you do park on the opposite side of the road, be...More

Silver Run Falls is just south of Cashiers. It is an easy walk from Highway 107. The waterfall is beautiful and creates a shallow pool that many people enjoy on a hot summer day. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the...More

The path to the falls is overgrown and not well-worn, which adds to its appeal. Just be prepared with proper footwear (I wasn't). There's lots of hiking over separated clusters of tree roots. The path is narrow and shaded by beautiful canopies of trees. Once...More

This is a great stop. It’s easy to get to the falls and there is a nice big waterfall at the end. There are several places to swim also.

This is a very short hike to a nice waterfall. You can climb down some rocks (not very difficult) and get down to the river/pool area. It's calm enough to swim around and kids will love to jump off low rocks. Yes, it is as...More

Beautiful spot located within a short walk from the road. Just be careful...parking can be tricky on this winding road.

In my opinion many waterfalls are dangerous places. This small waterfall pools into a shallow sandy area. Terrific for children and adults to cool off and play on a hot summer day. Easy .2 mile trail. This is a picture of the sandy- silvery water...More

Must do. Super easy hike from the roadside parking. Wear god shoes and it isn’t paved but wasn’t that big of a deal if you walk/hike much. Not a long hike to get to the falls so almost anyone could do it that can walk...More
