It is gratifying to support local farmers and crafts people. They have everything from fresh meat and eggs to vegetables, herbs and fruit to fresh flowers to decorate the table. Everything is delicious and it is a fun time to mingle with the people.

prices were higher than I hoped for but they had a nice selection. To be far though, we went on 7/3 (Tuesday) as they were closed on Wed so they didn't have that many vendors. A lot more are supposed to go on the weekend.

We walked through the market while visiting from out of town! Lots of very friendly vendors that include plants/produce/meats, some prepared foods, coffee, and crafts. A quick and friendly way to start your weekend visit!

Sample and buy local wares. Purchase crafts and visit with friends. Parking can be a problem. Still worth a visit.

Obviously more expensive than just going to a grocery store, but that's the only reason to not try to buy all of your food here. Friendly and open atmosphere with everything from herbs and baked goods to fresh produce and dairy and meat. Almost everything...More

Easy to get to (by car), easy to park. Not a huge market but has a good selection. Not a lot of fruit when i was there (june) but great vegetable selection. I went to Chapel Hill market afterward and it paled in comparison.
