You must have 4 wheel drive to drive on this beach. They offer beautiful overnight on beach camping. There are porta potty toilets available for use. Great family memories as all can unplug and just spend time together.

Great place If you can get down there at the right time. Lots of losers most weekends. Daytime during the week is my favorite time to visit Freeman Park !!

Love this beach!! All trucks park in a line leaving a huge area of sand between where everyone parks and the water. Plenty of space to play in the sand or play ball. Water was beautiful with lots of little sandbars. Plenty of port-a-potties. Dominos...More

This will be our new spot !! It's worth paying $30... keeps us from having to carry out things onto the beach... just back up & unpack!

Yes it will be a busy weekend, the park recently went through some changes and I believe they have reduced the number of sights. You should call the Town of Carolina Beach for more info.
