Stopped with husband and 2 kids on a cold, rainy day. It was nice to walk around for a bit and then get warm in the gift shop before venturing out again.

We visited this place as we'd heard about the great views with which we were not disappointed, but what I didn't expect was the range of unusual shops in the Main Street. There is also a good range of bars and restaurants, and there is...More

I was amazed at the views and mystery of the rock. Yes, a leaf does blow back toward you after throwing it over the edge. A great wonder of nature and fun to explore.

This is an awesome place to visit. The drive there is beautiful, but you have a spectacular view here. And, if you drop something light, it goes up, not down.

The Blowing Rock does have great vistas but we didn’t feel like it was necessary to pay an entrance fee for them when you’re in the mountains with numerous overlooks along the blue ridge parkway. Probably worth doing once.More

Thank you for visiting us! We do provide free parking, restrooms, and paid staff to keep up our grounds and buildings. Unlike the Parkway, we are privately owned and therefore pay property taxes as well. We hope you will consider the fee ( which we...More

This attraction offers a nice view without need to hike. The price is also reasonable at $7 per person. At the time of our visit the snack bar was closed and the gift shop offered a not so great selection of things to purchase as...More

Thank you for visiting us and we are glad you enjoyed the property! Unfortunately during winter months we do not staff the snack bar all day and regret we were not open when you visited. Charlie
