I had not been skiing in a few years so ASM seemed like a good way to ease back in. The check-in and rental process was efficient and I was on the slopes in no time. Maybe it was because it was a weekday but the lift lines were usually empty. Up and down until I was worn out! The... More

We had two decent to good skiers and two beginners and all had a blast! They had all the slopes open despite the mild winter and everything was much cleaner that the condiitons we witnessed at nearby Beach mountain. They are a smaller property and that makes it easier for them to keep making snow and grooming the slopes. We... More

We took my kids who are 7 and 9 and who have never skied. We got a private lessons with Tyler and he was awesome! We tried the bunny slope with the kids before the lesson and there were tears. After an hour with Tyler, they were skiing the blues! It was well worth the money. We spent 8 hours... More

Visited Appalachian Ski Mountain with several first time snow boarders. It's the perfect atmosphere! Runs are good, but not crazy difficult for someone starting out. Staff are friendly and helpful. We've already been two weekends and would definitely recommend! Only drawback is there is little else to do there. No tubing, no real restaurant, no good lounge area. But if... More

I was worried with the warm weather that there would be barespots. Not here. Beautiful skiing conditions on Saturday 2/4. Lessons are included if you have a group of 15. They only had one Black diamond open. it was be considered blue out west. excellent instructors at ski school. Very helpful and friendly! Runs were short but adequate.

Typically suggest going during the day. Night skiing is always full and usually consists of the older teenage to mid 30's crowd. If you don't have kids, hit the slopes at night, it's beautiful and you're sure to make some friend on the downward! Great lodge and gift shop, equipment available for rent and purchase!

We had a large group of 12 with young children and really enjoyed our day skiing. The kids participated in the ski school and the adults were able to enjoy the day skiing. The staff was great and answered all questions. Very helpful. The only cons I would say would be the food/cafeteria with a 90 rating. The food was... More

I've been going here for 5 years while teaching myself and my children to ski and snowboard. The location is easy to get to. Staff is great, readily available to help and lead you in the right directions. All amenities are close by. Ski school supper friendly and have taught my boys well. While leaning it is great because the... More

Easy slopes for a rooky like me. Snow was great; view was beautiful. Hot chocolate was the best I have had in a long time.

We will be back. Yes the snow was artificial but it was high quality. Great surface. The French Swiss ski school was great for our kids. Very well run. First time I have been in 15 years and I had a blast. Highly recommend for a quick trip or a family weekend.
