Spent the day at Tweetsie two weeks ago. Grandkids love it! Weather was good and crowd was not bad, so wait times at the rides were minimal. Only negative about Tweetsie is food service. We waited at Miner's Diner for 50 minutes IN LINE to...More

We visited on the day when there was a freak snowfall for December. We were staying in Lake Lure and had purchased tickets for our last night. We decided to go and I'm glad we did. Besides being unprepared for the cold/wet snow (we're FL...More

Had not been to Tweetsie Railroad in many years, since our children were little. Brought the grandchild for his first visit. The place literally has not changed a bit except for the price of admission. I guess in a way not changing is good because...More

For the cost of the tickets for a family of four there wasn't much to do. Ok for small kids... basically an overpriced country fair with a cheesy train show. Won't waste time going back. With gas/hotel/food/tickets definitely not a trip worth over $300. Very...More

I haven't been to Tweetsie in over 40 years. I took my grandkids last week. It was still as fun as I remember. A great value... Stop at the welcome center for discount coupon.

Pollution from the train is unacceptable, came to check for the grand children and won't be going. If needed I will go back to take pictures... Horrible for 2018.

Tweetsie is especially good for pre-school and early elementary kids. Good variety of rides, shows, animals and food. Staff was very friendly and talked to the kids.

We had an outstanding time. The chair lift, the train, the rides, so much fun. Definitely worth taking the time to go.

First of all, $45 is waaaaaaay too much for what they offer. It is a sweet, fun, pleasant place for families with young children. Our 10 year old was too old for kiddie rides but would not get on the more "adventurous" spin type rides...More

I wanted to give it a two star rating but the people there were really friendly. It's just like a county fair, just with less rides and games. I could see where small children may like it but not adults or teens. The 45.00 charge...More

Crowds are not unbearable but there will be a lot going on. I have been there on Heritage week a few times and it is very interesting and a lot of fun too. There are usually native American Cherokees there from Oconoluftee... More
