Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Family winery that we visited as a group to get to know it and do a tasting. Mikel, very friendly, showed us the winery and the vineyards.
He gave us some white and sparkling wines to taste, very pleasant to the palate, accompanied by a snack of cheese and chorizo.
The wines Ribera del Ason Albariño and Chardonay. Godello Cantabricus for me was the one I liked the most and of which I bought the most bottles.
The site is a wonder in the middle of nature that also has a rural house.
It is worth the visit and to try their wines and the effort of some brothers who seem to put passion into their project.

The trip we made to this vineyard was the highlight of my holiday to Nojas. The family who run the place collected us from our accommodation, have us a fantastic tour of the vineyard and fed us some beautiful spanish tapas. The lovely Begonia explained the fascinating history of the business, and how 15th Century Cantabrican wine making processes have been revived through this establishment.
The house itself is stunning, and is available to rent out- I'm definitely planning to go back and stay there! Our group had 4 children with us under the age of 8 and all were made welcome and had fun playing on the swings while the adults were exploring and tasting the wine.
The wine was fabulous and so were the spirits which are distilled by the same small company. But the family (those present were brothers Mikael, Jonny and Mikael's wife, Begonia) really made this a wonderful evening for our group.
Highly recommend booking a trip there if you're in the region!

Super tiny little vineyard that offers a guided tour and tasting for €8. The gentleman, (whose name I've now forgotten!) was really friendly. And the wine (plus chorizo and cheese) was delicious to taste and cheap to buy. Very much recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Casa Rural situated in the vineyards at Bodegas Vidular this May. It was just 1 hour from Bilbao and much less to Santander. It was the perfect long weekend to celebrate a family birthday and we were made so welcome by Mikel and Jon. The house has been converted beautifully to a high standard and is very comfortable to stay in. The hosts have paid so much attention to detail in refurbishing the barn with open stone walls and wooden beams, and rustic details. It's absolutely beautiful with so much character and charm - all very welcoming.
The house is in the middle of nowhere down windy roads with breathtaking views all the way across both mountains and sea. A real gem! The perfect place to unwind, and there is space for 16 to stay... there were 8 of us and it was spacious.
A fascinating tour of the vineyard and wine and liquor tasting was included which was great fun and really insightful. The friendliness of the hosts was a highlight.
10/10 recommend to families or large groups of friends! Beautiful walks surrounding the barn, or along the coast.

Never been to a vin yard before, now know a lot more about grapes and wine making now, the wine tasting was very good. We really should have gone in a taxi. The wine and liquor tasting was absolutely fabulous and there was no pressure to buy (even though we did and are very pleased we did!)

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a winery. They produce two white wines Ribera del Ason (blend) and Cantabricus (chardonnay). This is a young winery being developed by young entrepreneurs- Begona and Mikel Rebate, and Mikel's brother Jon. They've also renovated a beautiful farm house that can be rented out and the interior is charming and true to the character of the style of the home, but with all the modern amenities. We were treated to a wine tasting and fabulous dinner of local specialties. I would love to have this wine in the US- light refreshing and an award winner.

It was a very funny explanation. It was the father who gave us the tour and made us laugh a lot. The wine is very good, great to know when visiting Santander.
