It was very interesting for both the kids and for me. The kids had so much fun, they didn't realize they were learning; I had a great time watching them. I learned a few things, myself!

My son loves to visit the science barge. I live very close to the location and we have had many opportunities to visit. I think it can be interesting to the kids, but I find it to be quite boring. No offense, I am not...More

Hi "carterjonestalent!" We are so pleased to hear that you've frequented the Science Barge and that your son enjoys it. It may be helpful if you shared your son's age and when you went to the Barge (weekend, weekday, during Harvest?) The Barge is best...More

Excellent barge that teaches children about renewable energy. It was a good example for children on how to save the planet

Best if you arrive by foot as parking is hard to come by I always love a place that's focused on education

Thee place to take your children or yourself. The barge's power source is the sun and wind. They grow different fruits and vegetables using water instead of soil. On weekends you can tour the barge for free. It's really worth it.
