About
Yallingup's #1 Cooking School teaches you the secret to authentic Tuscan, Thai or Wood-fired cuisine in a hands-on class. A fun experience you're guaranteed to enjoy. Hosts Sioban and Carlo Baldini are famous for their warm hospitality both at the cooking school, the Wildwood Valley Cottages, and their Italian tour business Mad About Tuscany. Sioban trained as a chef under Neil Perry and further Thai training at Sydney's Longrain. Carlo hails from Cortona, Italy and loves to share his knowledge through the Wood-fired class.

A passion for food
Apr. 2021
Wildwood Valley's Sioban clearly has a passion for food, which she shares in her wonderful cooking classes. We attended the Italian cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed our day. We learnt to make pasta, crostini, Florentino chicken and a delicious flan for dessert. It was a delight to sit down and chat as we enjoyed our meal with fellow participants of the class. As we were staying in the cottages on the property, it was just a short stroll home. Highly recommended and we would definitely return.

Such a fun day!
Jan. 2020
Was gifted a voucher and chose Taste of Tuscany. A day of listening, chatting, learning & laughing. Siobhan and Carlo were fabulous hosts, getting everyone involved, sharing their knowledge and experiences, culminating in a long, lazy lunch. Amazing and accessible recipes which I have enjoyed trying at home. Definitely looking forward to participating in more classes. Just do it!

A Great Way to Spend the Day
Dec. 2019
A voucher for a cooking class was a gift and it too some time to get to book because classes fill up quickly. Had a great day, learnt lots, good food and wouldn't hesitate about doing it again.

An inspiring Day
Jan. 2020
A lovely gift for x-mas from my husband. Taste of Tuscany cooking class run by a lovely friendly chef whose charm, easy going ,friendly manner made for an enjoyable day bettered only by the food we prepared and ate. I went home feeling" buzzy" and inspired to recreate the dishes presented to us. Sooo inspired I have been and bought a pasta machine to begin making my own pasta.

A unique experience in a beautiful setting
Apr. 2019
A beautiful gift from the family - a Thai cooking class by top chef in the Australian bush! A full day of learning, fun, good company and fine food. Everyone gets multiple chances to try their hand at all aspects of the preparation and cooking. Owners are only in Yallingup for 3 months of every year - otherwise doing cooking schools and tours in Tuscany! Choose from Thai, Italian or Pizza classes! they are booked out more than a year in advance so certainly need to plan and book for Wildwood! Can't wait to get back (next year!) for Italian class.

Sensational Accommodation and a must do in the South West
Mar. 2019 • Friends
Wow! From the moment we arrived at the beautiful, clean and quiet cottage we felt welcome and comfortable. The cottages are excellently appointed, spotlessly clean and such a great and convenient location!

We were bookend in to do the Tuscany Cooking class and from the minute we walked into the beautiful stone and wooden home of the owners to commence the class, we felt so welcomed and comfortable.

The class itself was exceptional, we learnt how to make tradition Tuscan Food such as fresh pastas, an amazing salad, different crostini’s, the most succulent chicken dish, beautiful fresh season product was provided such as the most amazing digs in which we place blue cheese and prosciutto! It really was an amazing experience and the hosts Siobhan and Carlo were just exceptional, you will not be disappointed.
