My friend and I were looking for something different to do with our kids to keep them occupied during the school holidays and stumbled across Times Up in Wanneroo! The kids (11, 12, and two 14 year olds) had been asking to do an Escape Room for some time, and this one was located only 15 minutes drive from home.. a hidden gem, tucked away up the hill from the Wanneroo Tavern carpark.
When we got there we were greeted by an extremely helpful, friendly and efficient host. Her customer service skills were excellent (a rare find these days) and nothing was too much trouble. Her main objective was for the kids to have the most enjoyable Escape Room experience that they possibly could, and she did not disappoint! The Knightfall room was fantastic, the kids had an awesome time and raved about how much fun it was... we have promised to take them back again soon! My friend and I were both pleasantly surprised by the pricing of this activity and there were a number of different themed rooms and options to choose from. The best way to book is via their website.
The Time's Up Escape Rooms offer one of those rare activities that is suitable for people of all ages, from younger children through to teens and adults. Based on our experience, along with others I saw there, everyone will leave with a smile on their face and the desire to return to complete their next Escape Room challenge. I would highly recommend it!

Went today with my sister, lots of fun and the staff member that was there was a really nice person. The escape room was a murder mystery about a string of murders which you and the other person find yourself on either side of a locked cage in the murderers basement, you have one hour to work together to save “the victim” and escape. The puzzles were fun and intuitive 10/10 experience would go again, and would recommend

Miss Nine's feedback is "Amazing". Mr Twelve's feedback is "it was awesome". Miss Six's feedback is "really good". Aunty & Uncle's feedback is Rachael the Game Master was great. We had a great family experience in the Grinchmare Escape Room & the nieces & nephew are asking when we can come back again? "Wanted" is the room on their Christmas list.

Me and some friends did the pursuit escape room
And it was super fun! It was scary, too, but that made it so much better, and we escaped within the time limit which none of us expected!
Good quality, fun escape room :)

Attended Times Up Wanneroo as a team building exercise for the rugby Club. The coach wanted to do something away from the sport, split the players into different groups. It worked and put them into a different environment, challenging to work out clues and escape.
Pretty sure most enjoyed the experience, you get an hour to escape. Teams were put in different rooms, so if you enjoy challenges like this you can visit a few times. Some rooms are harder than others 👍

My friend and I visited the Pursuit Room this week with our kids aged 7-11 years old. I called to ask if the room would be appropriate, they asked the age of the kids and told me the pursuit room was appropriate as the puzzles were harder in the Wild West room. We used a family deal we had seen promoted on a page for kids activities for the school holidays, promoted for kids. There was no warning of the horrific content of the room, which included a torture room, complete with bloody tools, a cage, chains, cuffs and disturbing account of ordeal from a victim's perspective. While adults and older teenagers may enjoy this room, it was far from appropriate for kids. My child has been experiencing nightmares since. I emailed to point this out and ask that parents be warned before exposing their kids and Daniela's response was that all other patrons, including children younger than mine had enjoyed the content and they had received no other complaints. There was no apology or any commitment to warn parents of young children.

Well planned out and excellent team building. Lots of fun and kids aged 11 and 14 loved it. We did the pursuit room and although challenging was great fun. Staff were brilliant and got involved in the stories well. Will be going again to try the other rooms soon

I was visiting a friend in Perth and we decided that a change from the usual tourist sights would be an escape room. We chose ‘The Pursuit’. My friend had never done an escape room before and I had only done one. We loved it! Daniela was so lovely and guided us just enough without telling us too much.We were worried having just 2 people might be a disadvantage (one of us 8 months pregnant) but it wasn’t and we escaped with 6 minutes to spare. I would definitely recommend this escape room.

We went here on a Sunday afternoon for something fun to do. The place wasn’t busy which was good. Was a group of 3 and we have done room escapes before. Wouldn’t recommend the Christmas escape at all. Didn’t really enjoy it and seemed rushed in the story put together. Pieces of the room you needed to solve the room were broken. Maybe the other rooms are better?

Hi Shinade
We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the experience. We have recently made some changes to our Grinchmare room and we hope that you try out one of our other rooms in the future.
Kind regards

I was in Perth for a family wedding, and all of the cousins decided to do a little bonding by trying out some escape rooms.
From the moment we stepped into the reception area, we were given a super enthusiastically warm welcome by Daniela. It was a refreshing change to other escape rooms we had tried where the reception was more disinterested than excited.
We had signed up for 'The Pursuit' room and as she explains the rules and the back story of the situation, you can just see how much Daniela loves what she does simply because she really throws herself into character to give you an exciting start to the experience.
The room itself is on the smaller side, BUT there are so many cool little puzzles and tricks (both practical and mental) to solve in order to move onto the next problem that you just get lost in the whole role playing game. We had originally only signed up for 'The Pursuit', but we loved it so much that as soon as we escaped the room, we jumped straight into 'Wanted' because we couldn't get enough.
I really think Daniela was a big part of why we had so much fun. Her vibrance, energy, as well as her passion for what she does is really infectious, and it's just hard not to get swept up in all the fun that she provides. I CAN NOT recommend Time's Up Escape Rooms highly enough, I just wished I lived closer to Perth so I could try out her latest room!
