Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place, many memories for my husband as when living in Sandstone with his family in 1964 they had a photo taken by his mother. We took a photo of where he stood as a 10 year old all those years back in time. I was impressed with how the Shire maintains gravel road. Bins and seats provided. We also visited the old brewery and the former state battery. The entire area is a credit to the Sandstone Shire.

Dirt road is well maintained and several interesting sites on the route. Great to get close up to one of the breakaways you see from the highway.

This is not very far from Sandstone and the roads are very well graded. This history was interesting and of course you need to take the obligatory selfie... but even better was the stop at the Brewery on the way.

This natural feature was well worth a look as well as the other attractions on the Sandstone tourist trail.

It was an easy drive in the nicely graded dirt road and London Bridge looked great IRL. If you’re keen on photos early morning or late afternoon will get you nicest lighting, but it’s impressive at any time of the day. There’s a picnic table and bin provided. Dogs on leash are welcome.

Unique land forms & a view into past history. An old brewery carved into the base of a breakaway & the heritage listed State battery.

This was a great little spot to visit. Geologically interesting but it has been developed with a few facilities for tourists. Well worth a stop off

This is part of a heritage drive and is the highlight by far. A great photo can be taken of this natural bridge with the scrub land in the back making a colourful contrast.

We stopped in Sandstone on our way through to Kalgoorlie and what an adventure we had in this somewhat small historic town. By chance I picked up a heritage trail brochure in the historic pub and followed the heritage trail. This is a must for all ages to see the wonder of the rock formations to envisage what time gone by was like and to enjoy the beauty of the red earths rocks spectacular.
