Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Before I begin the poem, let me just say that this is a must-do if you have kids and you’re visiting Rottnest. We saw a ten year old boy accidentally tap his ball and his eight year old sister insist on marking it down on the score card as a stroke. A sibling argument broke out with the result being the boy hitting the golf ball as hard as he could into the bushes and walking off. Anyway here’s my poem:

“Stol-en one”

$9 to play mini golf
At the Family fun park

My wife found a putter
And took two free putts

Assuming the par
Is three for each hole

She now owes the owner
66 cents.

She’ll never pay though.

Shame on her.

$24 for a family of 4 to play mini golf. 18 hole course. It's not posh, smooth or a particularly slick course, but it is lots of fun and inexpensive for a family. On a hot day it's well shaded and as the course is kind of below road level, it is sheltered from the wind too. There is seating around the course so you can rest your legs. We had to dodge quokkas around the course which was cute. This fun park has the Rottnest Island Movies, Mini Golf & Fun Park all in 1. So it has trampolines which are $5 for 15 minutes and an undercover kids gaming area. The machines that spit out the tickets and then if you have enough tickets you can purchase a small item. There is a cafe here also that sells icecreams drinks etc - there are lots of tables and chairs undercover to sit and have a break. Its open 9am to 5pm. Not sure what time the movies are on. But the movie cinema is an old cinema with old fashioned seating chairs.

I played the course with friends on two occasions and had great fun. The course is well shaded and very reasonably priced at $9 each. Many of the holes had interesting contours and head scratching hills and dales caused by tree roots pushing up the course. We had lots of fun and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

OK so the kids had fun because who doesn't like wielding a metal stick and hitting a ball but the set-up is simply appalling - AstroTurf and some logs make up the course, there could not be a lazier or poorer way to create a mini-golf course. The entire facility of the so-called "Fun Park" is an appalling cash-grabbing attempt on slightly bored children and understanding parents. Just a terrible image for Rottnest Island, which seems like a massively commercial operation around the exploitation of quokkas.

Not a bad way to spend an hour or two although the place could do with having a few bucks spent on it, however in saying that it is cheap to play so as they say you get what you pay for

This course was great, lots of fun. Plenty of quokkas around watching you play. Only $9 per adult, not too bad at all.

We spent a full morning playing mini golf with 6 year old and a 10 year old. There was plenty of shade and the course was clean and well structured. It was alot of fun and a great way to spend the morning.

This Mini Putt Putt has been at Rotto for decades. Its old but its still fun. Each course is not that hard and no special effects, fun anyway. Shade and seats as you go around. Nice to have Quokkas around as you go around the course. It could do with a revamp but a fun stop. There is also Small trampolines that you can pay to go on. There is a small warehouse full of amusement games that give out tickets. You can then redeem the tickets for small prizes. Not all games will give tickets. The games are fun for kids. We came here twice and built out tickets up to get a better prize at the end of out stay. Good way to kill a few hours.
