This is a great place for a family walk. The walking trail starts from the carpark and leads completely around the point. On the way you can see many of the abandoned war bunkers that were built during WW2. Some are filled by beach sand but still interesting. There is lots of wildlife and very scenic as you can see... Dropped a line in the sea with mates while drinking a box of Heineken and caught no fish but the scenery is great. Drunk too much, got sunburnt, fell on the rocks and stubbed my toe. Good day.

We found this spot when we saw scuba divers returning to the car park. Easy enough access into the water for novice snorkellers and plenty of flora and fish to see underwater. The rocks round about are quite sharp- so take care.

We went to main car park. Followed path to the sandy beach. Slight drop off in areas. Fantastic shells. Dolphins got too close and scared us at first. Gets slightly rough as the day goes on.

Ideal area to go for a brisk walk, lots of inclines and footpaths. Also steps for a good workout. Old gunnery positions to interest kids, Easy beach access too. Good fishing areas and a pokemon hunting ground, do be vigilant for snakes as we have encountered a few dugites.

Visited on Boxing Day. Lovely rugged coastline with great views. Beaches not really for families. We went to snorkel but were a bit dissapointed as only saw underwater plants no fish etc but will try again.

The small beaches around are beautiful. We went there for a shorebird watching in the morning. Seen heaps of Terns, Pied Cormorants and Rock Doves ! Amazing coastal cliff (but please keep to the path) and rocks formation. Good for half day adventure if you are not doing the water sports.
